Background

John spent seven years working in some of the best restaurants in London under the guidance of Michelin star chefs, Marco Pierre White at Bibendum, Simon Hopkinson and Richard Neat.  This experience inspired his motivation for a high standard of cooking.

 

He was recruited to Rutland in Leicestershire and was involved in the success and reputation of the Olive Branch at a time when gastro pub dining was evolving.  Whilst there it was awarded a Michelin star.

 

He stayed in the area and helped other pubs to transform the East Midlands approach to eating out, driving home the importance of the standard of food.

 

A year was then spent in Vietnam establishing an English owned restaurant and developing his style. On returning to England, he has been instrumental in the success of the Archangel in Frome, Somerset, recently voted as one of the best 100 hotels in England.

 

Continuing his quest for sharing his exceptional style and approach to food he has collaborated with Louisa Margetson to bring this experience into your home. John’s food is now available to you and your parties. Louisa has a keen eye for attention to detail and care for excellence, together they are driven to deliver you a personal catering experience for any type of party.
